About Dan-Michael Batista

Dan-Michael Batista, founder of Sacred Guidance, is a certified hypnotist with years of experience assisting people to overcome obstacles.
Certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists (the oldest and largest guild of hypnotist), Batista has developed a successful practice which uses the power of hypnosis as a means for improving every aspect of human conditioning and to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of his clients.
Mr. Batista has mentored with noted hypnotherapist, Steven C. Parkhill, the author of "Answer Cancer." Parkhill's groundbreaking book takes the mystery out of chronic illness and illustrates how we can be in command of our healing and dealing with issues in our lives.
Dan-Michael has also worked with a Shaman to help him strengthen his ability to listen to, and trust, his Highest Guidance. In this, he began letting go of preconceived notions about how his practice should look and began giving his Highest Guidance full permission to speak through him in the service of fulfilling his client's needs.
Mr. Batista's work goes beyond the commonly associated applications of hypnosis such as smoking cessation, weight loss, pain control and overcoming phobias. These are all areas of life that are effectively treated with hypnosis every day, but Sacred Guidance goes into a level of treatment that encompass the total person, and that incorporates Spirit in assisting individuals to remove blocks to overall productivity. There is greater focus on the deeper emotional and spiritual causes behind the surface symptoms.
Dan Michael's methods have less to do with formal induction processes, such as those often depicted in film and television, and more to do with empathy. He is able to be more focused on the person's world. He is experiencing everything they are experiencing. He takes a person into their emotions, which often lie just beneath the surface. While in the state of hypnosis, a person can learn to focus and channel such emotions. In this way, even negative emotions can be used to work for us, rather than against us.
